I stayed away from this movie for a long time thinking it was a horror type movie. I was pleasantly surprised to laugh out loud at the story. If I had realized Dick Van Dike, and Mikey Rooney were in it, I would have known better.

The only draw back is that it is a bit long. Being a musical it's fun to watch over and over to sing-along.
